JOIN BIRDERS FOR UPCOMING FIELD TRIPS

SPONSORED BY NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AUDUBON SOCIETY

Everyone is welcome on these field trips. You do not have to be a member of NWAAS to participate and you don’t need any special birding skills. If you are interested in learning more about birds in northwest Arkansas, this is a great way to get started.

The full list of NWAAS-sponsored field trips is available under Field Trips and other Upcoming Events (left hand window on this page). Additional details, including meeting time & place, will be sent via email upon request to joeneal@uark.edu. You can also join the email list to obtain such information on a regular basis.

Finally, trip details are announced on ARKBIRD-L, an online list devoted to discussion of birds in Arkansas and related matters. Subscription to ARBIRD-L is free and open. Go to the website of Arkansas Audubon Society to subscribe.

Photographs on this page are the work of Jacque Brown of Centerton and David Oakley of Springdale. They depict birds we see in northwest Arkansas either in migration or during the summer (nesting birds). You may see some of these, too, on a field trip – or in your backyard.
